Scientific illustration is a means of communicating science in a visual sense.
​It is the ability to process information by eliminating unnecessary objects or redundancy and highlighting specific items or processes that encourage learning.

While using a myriad of different scientific illustration techniques, I often utilize a ​mixed media approach to achieve certain details in my pieces.
​
My main mediums are watercolor, ink and graphite.
However, I also enjoy working with colored pencil, pastel, carbon dust and gouache.
